Software and Product Architect (Job Number: 1113965)
As a member of the OEM/ODM team you will lead SOW effort and mapping of requirements to test matrix and acceptance criteria; define and productize AD IP cameras API and SDK; lead the effort in product design, test specifications, and test results review with the vendor; lead the effort in benchmark, assessment, qualification and selection of IP cameras; support beta programs, PM and sales for VoC activities; lead the functional specification effort and mapping requirements to design documents; prototype and evaluate new technologies; and provide level 4 technical support.
Qualifications: BS or MS in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering discipline with 10+ years in the software / video systems / IP camera industry; Linux based firmware development using C and C++; working knowledge of IP camera architecture, design and implementation including IP communications protocol implementations (IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, RTP/RTSP, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, etc.); working knowledge of various video (H.264, MPEG4 and MJPEG) and audio (G.711, G.726 and G.729) codecs; technical report writing experience; root cause analysis, impact analysis, troubleshooting techniques, and resolution/idea creation; and product/hardware and software development lifecycle knowledge.
Principal Computer Vision Engineer (Job Number: 1114133)
Reporting to the Manager Vision Group, you will contribute to computer vision and video analytics development for new product features, refining image processing and analytics algorithms, developing and prototyping new computer vision and analytics algorithms; provide high level technical mentoring and coaching to senior team members; attain preagreed schedules; and offer software solutions to a complex level.
Qualifications: Minimum Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent (PhD preferred); minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial software development and software development lifecycle; minimum 3 years’ experience with Linux and C++ development; in-depth knowledge of computer vision algorithms and techniques for video surveillance applications; excellent math and communication skills; and demonstrated research or employment history in computer vision technologies.
Principal Engineer – Linux Developer (Job Number 1115897)
Reporting to the Director of R & D, IP Video Solutions, you will contribute to development of product features and architecture of a network video recorder product; attain preagreed schedules and offer software solutions to a complex level, including design, development, and test of key features and architectural components; and design and develop code for large-scale, real-time multi-media applications.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent; minimum 7 years’ experience in commercial software development and software development lifecycle; minimum 5 years’ Linux and C++ development; experience in high performance systems design and development, with application performance tuning and resource optimization, and with real-time software application and systems design and development.
