Large International Client company located in Madison Wisconsin has several positions open for C++ Developers. Base salary in the 75-102K range...depending on experience.Bonus Plan is part of total compensation. Relocation Assistance is provided. This is a full time staff mid level position requiring a minimum of 5 yrs experience. Description: The Software Developer is responsible for designing and developing desktop media applications. This position requires technical expertise and the ability to work closely with other team members. Key Responsibilities: * Play an integral technical role in the planning and execution of state-of the art software applications. * Collaborate on the design, coding and maintenance of intuitive user interfaces for next generation software products * Work with other team members and to create maintain a consistent look, feel, and work flow between companion software applications * Complete assigned development activities in a professional and high quality manner Requirements: *Degree in computer science is highly desirable * 5 plus years of developing commercial software applications * C++ is the most crucial skill. C++ developers (old school) with any video experience would be the top priority, followed by any C++ engineers (real time, wireless, embedded, etc.) * Experience with .NET, C#, Perforce, Visual Studio, Python is also desired but not required. * Extensive experience in interface design and implementation * Project estimating, architecture and design documentations skills * Must be able to work effectively on multiple tasks with multiple deadlines * An innovative individual, a creative thinker with strong problem solving and analytical skills *No sponsorship is available.
