We are looking for a C/C++ developer for a contractor position to complete a software project as part of a large battery testing system. The key requirements of the software are as follows:

1. The software needs to communicate to multiple external devices through multiple RS232 channels, one USB channel, and one parallel channel.
2. The software should have an interactive Graphic User Interface (GUI) that provide ability for the user to communicate with external devices through USB, RS232 and IEEE 1284 interfaces
3. The software is able to do data logging while the test is running

The software should be developed in C/C++, use Code::Blocks as the IDE (gcc compiler), and use wxWidgets as the tool for GUI development.

The applicant is expected to independently work on the project based on the given product specifications with minimal supervision. The applicant needs to have demonstrated capability to write C/C++ code in Code::Blocks and wxWidget with extensive experience on software development for communications with various protocols (USB, RS232, IEEE 1284, and GPIB).

We are located in southern California. The capability of performing on-site visit on a need basis during the project is required.
