i dont know if this was an old version or its one being currently worked on, but i was looking at an old post on building an interpreter, and accidently clicked on one of the profiles and it brought me to v2.cplusplus.com . is this a new update?

That is a old version of the site. If you look at the bottom of the page you will see the current version which is 3.1.

That's actually the old "skin" of this website. A bit hard on the eyes but still nice.
