If it doesn't impress you look at the source code ;p. No point really to this thread just thought it was cool and wanted to share it.

oh duh... sorry i wasnt thinking
Haha, wow. That is incredible. I can't tell, does it manipulate the strings in the script or just the strings visible on screen?
You should check out the javascript 1k competition. contestants have a limit of 1k worth of source code. There are some really outstanding entries for that much code.
wow, how the hell does that work?

i understand javascript, but i have stared at that code for twenty minutes so far to no avail. could someone please take the time to explain it to me? why is printing some of the code?
Not some of the code, the entire script is also visible on the page. When I view the source though all I see is a period followed by script tags containing the script, no idea how it actually displays the script let alone colors it.
Yup. Black magic.

its the weirdest sh*t ive ever seen. that makes my nightmares
It looks like that magic number at the beginning is coordinates of the bitmap scrolling through the 'round window' of the globe, and the rest of the stuff is the code that draws it. Notice the refresh timer on the html body at the end there.

It has been very beautifully obfuscated, though.
