Do we have IRC channel?

Question in title. Do we?
Several, #c++ is usually fairly populated, #cplusplus isn't so much but I still occasionally idle there.

How do I access them?

#c++ requires a password though, i believe
There have been a number of forum threads about this in the past.

Here's one from 2010:

Is there an alternative to mIRC?
Only if there's an alternative to McDonald's.
The second link is the alternative.

Sorry just missed you by 30 seconds Lumpkin.
irc.freenode.net #cplusplus

I hang out there. Usually pretty empty, though.

Good client is kiwiirc.com , if you're on Windows and don't have any decent clients.

this is really quite funny... i was just learning how to build an irc client in python for my raspberry pi. i feel like we should all join #irp on irp.freenode.com
Ha someone just told me about #irp... Pretty great
Just a note, you can use the official online freenode client. http://webchat.freenode.net/
Would be nice if it was more obvious that we have irc channel. I bet many people never heard of it.
And I use Xchat here on Linux, and it's okay. Sometimes I also use irssi, but it's CLI client :)
I use HexChat. It's a fork of Xchat, which is much more actively maintained

i would just like to say, i used xchat for a while and switched to hexchat, and it is a much better irc client imo. a lot more user friendly with a better interface
