irc browser?

so i apologize if this is public knowledge, but it has become very annoying switching back between my browser and irc client. i know that someone posted a link to a web based one, but thats still switching between tabs. is there a browser that has an irc client to the side of it or something like that? if not does anyone know of a hack for webkit?

I am sure some IRC clients provide a "always on top" option which would do kind of what you are looking for.

For example in Irssi (A command line client) has a option for this.

Or there is also other ways to make windows always on top like using powermenu which can make any program be always on top http://www.abstractpath.com/powermenu/

Or you could even go about making your own plugin for your browser or even a standalone client.

There are a variety of IRC addons for Firefox, as well as web clients like Mibbit.

@zereo: thanks ill take a look at that. i dont know enough yet about networking and plugins to make that.

@chrisname: im on chrome, but ill look for them on the chrome store
