Perhaps you are referring to the Boost libraries for C++:
http://www.boost.org/
No I heard if you use linux with windows(two operating system on one pc)
and use windows it will increase the performance of windows
That doesn't even make sense. That's like saying if you install itunes your computer will run faster. Maybe they mean if you use linux instead of windows it will boost performance.

I know it doesn't make sense that is why I am asking it
closed account (EwCjE3v7)
I think this is what they meant:

Dual boot, install a Linux distro and Windows, use Windows like for stuff that you cant do on Linux(Gaming...).

I assume such a thing is not possible
But YellowPyrmid why do we need dual boot?
What is virtual machine for?
Main disadvantage of VM is having to pay cost of 2 running OS + VM itself. Because of that you cannot really use Windows in VM on Linux to play perfomance-critical games.

For anythng else Wine or VM will sufffice.
I am not a gamer so vm is fine as per miinipaa opinion for me
thanks all
