So I've been considering getting a career in computer programming. I was just curious what steps i need to take. I'm in high school so what classes should I take now? Four years of math and science right? What about English? In college what degrees do I need to get? I know you can get a degree in computer science or computer programming? Which would be better? If I want to make games for a career what kind of degree should I get?

Make sure you get a lot of practice in lots of different areas to get experience.

Right now I'm currently a student at DeVry University and my major is Game and Simulation Programming. If you want to program video games or computer programs or simulations then this would be a good major for you.
