Suggestion for Beginner and General section

There is always a problem with new users not using code tags, making their code hard to read. Just to throw out an idea, how about start out a thread with code tags by default? New users could easily put one and two together, and place their code in the tags. Ex:

[code][/code]

[Duthomhas]

You know, that's a surprisingly good idea. I would make it read:

Write your question here.

[code]
  Put the code you need help with here.
[/code]

It wouldn't be a pain for people who know better, because a simple Ctrl-A before typing would be all that is necessary.


Also, I think twicker should add a button or something in the upper-right corner of the displayed code box to automatically select the entire contents. Some browsers (like Chrome, which I am using) make it very hard to do this, especially when the code is larger than the full-screen browser window.
