need help changing win32 project to MFC

i have a client tcp program is win32 that reads a list of ip addresses from a web host and then displays the addresses in a listbox but i want to use a previous MFC file i created for this application. but i am having difficultly changing the code from the win32 program into the MFC program.

can some please help me with this code?
i don't really know what win32 code should go into the main thread of the MFC project. also how to push the ip address into the listbox

You should avoid MFC if the code you have so far already works, it only will confuses you as a beginner.

Instead get rid of MFC parts and port it to win32 api:
1 get rid of AfxMessageBox -> use MessageBox instead
2 as for Mutex and CriticalSection classes use CreateMutex, OpenMutex, ReleaseMutex and InitializeCriticalSection, EnterCriticalSection, LeaveCriticalSection APIs directly, you hopefully will understand how things works.
3 do not use CreateThread, use _beginthreadex() instead.
