Examples of reading Microsoft "category tags" from image metadata?

I already know I need a library for reading metadata, the question is what format is Microsoft's tags metadata("Tags" in windows explorer)? I'm planning on using Windows Imaging Component to read the metadata, but I can't find any reference to a query string for retrieving this data.

Never mind. All I had to do was open an image in an exif viewer that shows tag IDs, and use the ID as a ushort value in the query string.
