Menu in headline

I haven't done anything in programming for quite a while, but now I decided it's time to update a few things I had written for Windows.
One of the things I would love to do, is get rid of the menu line underneath the headline and integrate the menu into the healine of a window, like Firefox does.
But I have no clue how to do that, I don't even know what to search for to get an idea of how that's done.
Google spits out nothing usefull at all, I guess that's because searching for "menu in headline" gives way too many hits that aren't related to my purpose.

Could anyone give me a hint, where to get started?
I think google didn't recognize the term "headline". The proper term is Titlebar. You have to start with a borderless Window and attach the menu to it. The menu will appear then at the top of the window. However you need to create your buttons to close, minimize, maximize. You also need to implement to logic to move and resize the window.
