Is something wrong with my computer c++ code dosent work!

I tried the basic c++ hello world program on multiple IDE's on every IDE the code compiles and runs but nothing shows up, but the console window opens up and whenever i try to recompile i get errors because the previous instances of the console windows are open and refuse to get closed untill i restart the computer can anyone help me!

you can use ctrl+alt+delete to shut down it;

install vs2005 and try it's mfc console project
if it fails too then reinstall os
