At a site where post count means nothing, then it means 10000 posts is nothing more than another post. Really doesn't matter what you post, because only a few will notice. Honestly, I only notice my post count once in a while..didn't even notice when I broke 1k posts. Just post and keep helping and giving advice as that is way more important than a post number.
I've decided to do none of these things. The pressure is just too great.
I'll just proceed with mostly ignoring my post count like I usually do.
Not really, you basically did what I recommended. I said not to worry about it, but if you wanted it to be truly a worthwhile post to give advice in a thread (which you kind of just did, don't stress over post count). :P

His post can be taken as advice or lesson of not worrying about post count. Just depends on how you skew it really.
